Signer Wallet

In the context of Smart Accounts on Coinrule, the Signer Wallet plays a critical role as the authorized controller of your Smart Account. It is the external wallet you connect to Coinrule, such as MetaMask or another EVM-compatible wallet. This wallet acts as the keyholder, granting permissions to sign and authorize all transactions associated with your Smart Account.

When you connect your wallet for the first time, a unique Smart Account is created and linked to your Coinrule account. The Signer Wallet provides the cryptographic signature needed for actions such as executing trades, funding your Smart Account, or interacting with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. It ensures that only you, as the owner of the Signer Wallet, have the authority to manage your Smart Account and its assets.

Coinrule does not have custody of funds in your smart account. Coinrule is not able to transfer or withdraw any funds in your smart account.

This structure maintains a high level of security and decentralization, as your private keys remain entirely within your control, stored securely in your Signer Wallet. All operations on your Smart Account are executed with your explicit authorization, ensuring a seamless and secure DeFi trading experience.
